Please, please, please... don't use any legendaries! They are so lame. Come up with original teams, use UnderUsed Pokemon, you'll have more fun... I promise.

PS- If you get into NetBattle, be prepared to face hordes of noobs with uber-legendary teams. At least that's how it was a couple years ago when I was into it.

I used to play pokemon. The first one I played was Yellow and I enjoyed it. Silver came next, and then I played Ruby. I wish I would have known about these fights before I traded in my Ruby version (Which I had unlocked everything and my main team was 100

Some lucky person has my ruby!

To restate... using ubers is lame. What's the fun or challenge in smashing everything with overpowered, unbalanced pokes? My current Colloseum battling team has Gorebyss, Lanturn, Dusclops, Scizor, Sceptile, and Clefable. Do I win all the time? Nope. Do I have a blast? You betcha! How much fun is it to toss out Mew/Mewtwo/Kyogre and just spam Psychic/Surf constantly?

It is fun, especially if you still can't beat Steven with your team and you still get crushed by other trainers online. And did I mention that I can't use these Pokemon in the Battle Frontier and all of my other Pokemon are Level 59 or less? So what if I have a max level Pokemon team of Legendaries? I still lose pretty much every battle I conduct anyways...Screw those other online players...

After doing every little thing from filling up my pokedex to trying tons of battle combinations, I have taken up Breeding.

And no I'm not kidding.

In the new pokemon games, the pokemon have personalities which determine their attributes. One attribute will be especially high, but one will be especially slow; Give and take.
Say the pokemon is 'lazy'. It will be speed will be low but it's defense will be high.
Personalities are also random. Breeding makes getting the perfect pokemon easier to obtain.

That's why I breed! To make the PERFECT pokemon. *Evil Grin*

By using this to your advantage, you can have that extra edge against another person.

I agree with your ideas against using a Uber Super Duper team... gets boring after a while.

And when I get bored of breeding, I take a break at the casino.

I dont really remember but i do remember that i always capped a Mareep in Silver and gold

they rule trust me.

Il get back when i have some more builds put up (i dont have ruby and sapphire annymore sold them)

so only red/blue/yellow/gold/silver/diamond thats all i have ^^

*maybe i should use a emulator to play Ruby and sapphire again

Because I did too!
At the beginning, I'd have whatever starting pokemon I choose, a pidgey, a geodude, and a mareep.

That was my staple team. The other two slots were left for experimental purposes.

Btw in Yellow i had or have a Pickachu on lvl 83 (no rare candies used etc yust cold hard training)

now you are talking about it i have him in Pokemon silver in my dream team
